Professional Experience:
Industrial relations expert having in-depth knowledge and understanding of legal and operational side of human resource in industry and business. 30 years of experience on various positions in Labour Department of Government of Gujarat and six years of experience in private sector. Retired as Additional Commissioner of Labour on 31st August 2013.

Worked with L&T and Mahindra and Mahindra as an IR Adviser. Currently working with Polycab wires private ltd., HNG Glass, Torrent Power Limited, Birla Insulators, GHCL and a few other companies as an IR Adviser.

Awards / Recognitions:
The Government of Gujarat appreciated his work and awarded best officers award twice in his career.

He has also received many appreciation certificates as recognition for his effort and contributions in the field of Industrial Relations from various organizations.

Achievements:
Maintaining healthy Industrial Relations.
Handled many labour situations (strikes, lockouts and other apprehended situations)
Successfully solved them with win-win situation.
Implementations of various labour laws successfully.
Trained fellow officers on public relations, public dealing and labour laws.

Organized many workshops and seminars to train sr. HR IR officers as well as workers of various Industries and Organizations.
Implemented two years International Labour Organization’s ‘Convergence Against Child Labour Project’ successfully. The project was implemented in ten districts of five states. He led the project for Surat (Gujarat). At the end Surat emerged the first among all. A team from ILO and Labour Dept. Government of America visited only Surat District. Both of them appreciated the work done for eradication of Child Labour and rehabilitation of their families in Surat

Though he was in Government he has always worked beyond the call of duty to give justice to all, which has given him job satisfaction beyond his expectations.
