Mr. Gupta started his career by serving reputed Indian manufacturing organization(s), worked with Modi Continental and JK Tyres. He has served both the organizations in the capacity of the HR Head, dealing with personnel, Industrial Relations and Legal function for about 23 years. On inspiration of Mr. H L Kumar, Advocate, Supreme Court as well as the Chief Editor, Labour Law Reporter (popularly known as LLR), Mr. Gupta left his private sector job in 2003 and started his own practice in the area of Labour Laws. Since then Mr. Gupta has been practicing in the Supreme Court, High Court(s)
Employees’ Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi , Bangalore and Central Government Industrial Tribunal etc. . Apart from this, he is also giving expert guidance and opinion to various employer(s)/ establishment(s) /companies on the issue related to the Employees’ Provident Fund & Misc. Provisions Act, 1952 , Employees’ State Insurance Act,1948 and other Labour Laws. His opinion has helped various companies in re-structuring and streamlining of the basic-wages structure of their employees i.e. Cost to the Company (CTC).
Besides above, Mr. Gupta has delivered lectures on Employees’ Provident Fund Act, 1952 , Employees’ State Insurance Act,1948 and Anti-Sexual Harassment in various national seminars conducted in Delhi, Indore , Bangalore , Chennai , Kochi, Jaipur and Mumbai.
Recently , Mr. S K Gupta has given talk on the subject i.e. Financial Impact of the recent judgment of the Supreme Court , titled as RPFC Vs. Vivekanda Vidyamandir and others ( 2019 LLR 339 ) at Faridabad , Gurgoan , Kochi , Mumbai , Delhi , Kochi and Goa.
